You Made A Difference
2020 was a challenging year for many reasons, but that didn’t stop you from making a positive difference in the world. Throughout the year, in addition to participating in a number of fundraisers, we donate a percentage of every sale to charity. As we look forward to the coming year, we want to take this opportunity to say “Thank You” for choosing Linda Allard Jewelry and to let you know how much of a difference your choice made to two charities.
Thanks to your recent purchases, we were able to donate an additional $400.92 to FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered) at the end of 2020. Their mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families facing hereditary cancer. They accomplish that mission by providing expert-reviewed information to help people make informed medical decisions. They ensure that no one faces hereditary cancer alone. As a bonus, a passionate group of FORCE supporters pledged to match every dollar donated by December 31st, so thanks to you FORCE received an additional $801.84.
The Alzheimer’s Association also benefited. This charity is near and dear to us because of the number of family members we have who were affected by this disease. While our other charity partners change from year to year, the Alzheimer’s Association always receives a portion of every forget-me-not sale. That’s because Linda makes forget-me-not jewelry in honor of her mother, Joan, who was taken by this terrible disease. Their mission is to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Thanks to your recent purchases, we were able to donate an additional $72.50 to the Alzheimer’s Association at the end of 2020. The good news is that there was also a push for this charity to end the year on a positive note. John and Crystal Beuerlein pledged to match all gifts made by December 31st four times! That makes your purchases worth $290!
