Druzies are formed when mineral filled water sits on a rock's surface.  As the water evaporates it leaves the minerals behind as tiny crystals. The druzies in this mini collection are coated with platinum using a process known as vapor deposition to give them extra sparkle. The coating is 3 microns thick to enhance their durability so you can wear them with confidence.
